Website development
Website development
I started building websites in 1996 with Wiltshire Crimestoppers before becoming the first webmaster for the Wiltshire Police in 2000. I moved on to the post of webmaster for Kennet District Council in October 2002 for seven dynamic years and built an excellent team with not only web skills but creative media skills. I have great experience in all areas of web solutions from project management, design, hosting, promotion, integration, accessibility, images, video and social networking. I have managed numerous web projects while managing and developing skills within an excellent team. I have worked on Frontpage, Dreamweaver, Notes, Livelink. ASP, PHP and now recommend Joomla, though happy to work on Dreamweaver and other web projects.
At Cf10ten Ltd I have built a dedicated team to provide you with a web solution and we want to pass on our knowledge and inspire you in your web project and business web solutions.
The reason for recommending a Joomla website is its power to create dynamic websites without having to be technical. Joomla is open source and is free to install and most add-ons are also free to download and install. There is no on-going license fee or any need to install special software so long as you have an Internet connection you can update your site. The main cost is for hosting and development which is the same for any website. The benefits of using Joomla are varied but what is best is the ease at being able to keep the site updated and populated. The editor is easy to use and can be easily accessed from the front end of the website. It also lets you set expiry date for your content so your site will never be out of date. Joomla also allows easy integration into social networking sites the addition of blogs, forms, shopping carts, video, photo galleries and many more the lists are unlimited. We have not found anything a Joomla site cannot deliver.
We are also able to take your existing website and transfer into a dynamic Joomla website to allow you to maintain and develop yourselves.
Our team will provide you with a complete website solution and are prepared to talk to you, quote for a web based project or provide training.

Pleases e-mail
What you need to do is fill in this form or e-mail to show your interest / what the name / content of your site is.
So while you wait for news on your website, you need to start planning.
You will need content, as I always say a website is only as good as its content *smile*
Identify what your site is about, write up to 20 words that would best describe it.
Write down any keywords / phrases that people would use to find your site.
You can of course start typing up your words as you can copy and paste into your site.
Think about structure, start with a few pages.
Look out a few photos: Do you have a Youtube video?
Do you have a facebook page, if not it may be worth starting one.
And be inspired to share your site with others!
Of course you can, at any stage, buy in extra help with images, forms or video., though I am confident you will be able to follow the lessons and create your own dynamic site.
